Dianna Tuttle
Dianna L Tuttle Born and raised in Tennessee. Graduated from Lexington High School in 1975. In
the fall of 1975 Dianna moved to the Northwest where she attended CBC in Portland, Oregon.
December 1975, Dianna’s family suffered the tragic total loss of the family’s home, Blue Goose,
Tennessee.
Dianna stayed at home with her parents to help rebuild their home.
September 1977, she returned to Portland, Oregon to continue her studies at CBC.
Dianna attended the New Life UPC (currently Palace of Praise) in Aloha, Oregon. Michael served as
assistant to the Pastor, Barry A. King at New Life.
The fall of 1977 Michael and Dianna began a short courtship, December they were engaged to be
married.
June 16, 1978, found them at the altar of marriage.
Following in the steps of his parents Michael became a successful realtor at the second largest Real Estate
company in the Portland area. Trained sales associates, office management and the top listing agent for
Art Lutz Realtors.
Dianna employed by Norm Thompson Outfitters as a data processor while actively helping with activities
at the church and church school.
1979 Michael and Dianna were elected to serve as the Youth Directors for Section 1 of the Oregon
District UPC.
November 1980 Medical professionals reported they would not be able to have children,
July 30, 1981, Brother TW Barns prayed for Michael and Dianna.
April 30, 1982, Matthew Louis Tuttle was born at St. Vincent Hospital, Portland, Oregon.
May 1982 met the Foreign Missions Board of the UCPI in St Louis for full appointment to The
Netherlands. All ballots from the board stated, “wait.”
July 12, 1982, open door to return to Germany to serve as pastor of a US Military church in Baumholder,
Germany.
After the approval and blessing of Pastor Barry King, invitation from Missionary Arlie Enis, upon
recommendation of FMD General Director, Harry Scism, Michael and Dianna were appointed short-term
missionaries (STM) to Germany, under the new program called Associates in Missions (AIM).
September 2, 1982, Michael, Dianna, in her 7 th month of pregnancy and 17-month-old Matthew, boarded
the long trip from Portland International airport, via, Seattle, and Helsinki, Finland, to Frankfurt,
Germany.
November 21, 1982, Anna Mikel Tuttle was born in Landstuhl, Germany.
May 1984 the Tuttles became fully appointed missionaries to The Netherlands.
Planting and re-opening churches in the Amsterdam area, The Hauge, Rotterdam, and home groups in
cities and towns in Holland. Also pastored the church in Dordrecht.
1990-2008 filled the duties of coordinators for the European Conference for Western Europe.
2002-2010 functioned as Area Coordinators for Western Europe.
2008-2012 served as military ministries coordinator for the EME Region.
2010-2022 served as Regional Director for the 76 nations of the UPC of the Europe Middle East (EME)
Region.
Many new missionaries, short term and career, joined the Global Missions ministry team.
Dianna served as Ladies Ministries Coordinator, leading the first EME Ladies Conference held in 2017 in
Drammen, Norway.
July 1, 2023, a new chapter of ministry began. Serving Eastgate UPC, Vidor, Texas, with pastor Matthew
Tuttle, his lovely wife, Michelle, church administrator Anna Mikel Trimble (Tuttle). Was it the call from
the Lord of the harvest or the opportunity to be close to all 8 grandchildren, one who has already gone on
to be with the Lord? It was a gracious and merciful God who directs the steps of His children and over
abundantly supplies all their needs.
The Tuttle’s ministry has afforded them the opportunity to serve as church planter, youth leader,
evangelist, Bible Quiz coach, teacher, pastor, missionary, ladies ministry leader, area coordinator,
literature coordinator and regional director.
