Calrton & Norma Coon

Sages would not be successful without a strong leader with vision. Please let me introduce you to Rev. Carlton & Sis. Norma Coon, who together are the Sages Directors. We so appreciate their leadership and constant encouragement as well as vision in leading this ministry!
The Coon’s currently reside in Springfield, Missouri where they have held multiple roles in pastoring, church planting, and leadership. They have held positions within the UPCI leadership as well. Bro. Coon was the NAM Director previous to becoming the Sages Director. He is constantly traveling and speaking all across America helping various congregations.
Sis. Coon has also been involved in ministry, including roles in Ladies Ministry and music. She has ministered alongside her husband through years of evangelizing and pastoring various churches. She is a wonderful support and blessing to their ministry.
Bro. Coon has authored 42 books, which can be found at CarltonCoon.com. He and his son, Pastor Lane Coon, train on Mastering Disciplemaking via their online training course.
Both of them cherish family, having two wonderful sons, a lovely daughter in law, and three adored grandchildren. Their interests include reading, sports, travel, and savoring local food and coffee during their journeys.
The Sages ministry is a relatively new initiative of the UPCI. Because it is in its infancy, so to speak, there is a lot of behind the scenes work involved and hours of planning and organizing for the different regions and states. Conferences to plan, teams to set up, marketing materials, etc. So it takes a lot of effort to get a new ministry running successfully. Let’s let them know how much we all appreciate their efforts in helping the ministry of Sages move forward!

Dale & Lisa Beebe

The Beebe's bring a wealth of experience, dedication, and enthusiasm to this important role. As veteran church planters, they have demonstrated a deep commitment to kingdom building and ministry development. Their leadership has been further proven through various district leadership roles, including their service as South Carolina Home Missions Director, where they provided strategic vision. Perhaps most important, these good people are proven workers. They get things done.
Their extensive experience in both hands-on ministry and influencing others makes them uniquely qualified to serve the Sages Ministry in this capacity. Norma and I are confident that their expertise, servant hearts, and collaborative spirit will be a tremendous asset to our board and Sages as a whole. The Beebes will be keys to the continued advance of UPCI Sages.

Ron & Patty Brown

Bro. Ron and Sis Patty Brown cover the Sages Southeast Region, which includes the following districts: Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North and South Carolina, and Virginia.
In 1970, the Brown’s were married after meeting and graduating from Apostolic Bible School in St Paul, Minnesota. After graduation, they assisted briefly in Woodstock, Ontario and then pastored in Hamilton, Ontario and Knoxville, Iowa. While in Iowa, Bro. Brown served several years as the District Youth President. In 1985, they accepted the pastorate of Lighthouse UPC in Jackson, Tennessee and while there also served as a Presbyter on the District Board for 15 years. In 2005 he was elected as District Superintendent and fulfilled that position until he retired in 2021.
The Brown’s love the work of the Lord and appreciate the Sage’s ministry and are happy to be a part of it! They currently reside in Bon Aqua, Tennessee near Nashville.

Rick and Suzi Toadvine are the Regional Directors of the Central Region. They have been involved in many different ministries of their church. They were youth Sunday School teachers, led their Singles Ministry, and currently lead the OASIS (Older Adults Sharing In Service) group. Suzi led the music department for many years and is still a part of the music ministry of the church. Rick serves on the board of the church and is involved in many different capacities of the church with regard to the facilities. Suzi is also the Promotional Director of Sages as well as planning the Sages cruises. They currently reside in Chesterton, Indiana and are part of the Portage United Pentecostal Church. They have 4 children (one of which is deceased) and 5 wonderful grandchildren! They are very excited about the Sages Ministry both local and internationally and they love being a part of this team. The districts they cover are: Indiana, Detroit Metro, Michigan, Central Canadian, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ontario, and Wisconsin. If you are a part of any of these districts, please let them know about your groups! They are here to help you in any way!

Michael & Dianna Tuttle

Bro. and Sis. Michael Tuttle are our South Central Regional Directors. They have given years to the work of God in a lot of different capacities, from youth leaders, evangelists, teachers, missionary assistants, full time missionaries, Regional Directors for 76 nations in the Europe Middle East, military ministries co-ordinator for the EME, and Sis. Tuttle has served in the Ladies Ministries in various capacities as well. They currently serve alongside their son, Pastor Matt Tuttle, in Vidor, Texas. They have two children, Pastor Matt Tuttle (wife Michelle) and Anna Trimble (husband Rev. Ryan Trimble), and 8 beautiful grandchildren.

Their region includes the following districts: Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, North Texas, South Central Texas, and South Texas. Sis. Tuttle also works with the development of our Sages promotional gear. We are so glad to have them on the Sages Team!

This is an introductionto the Regional Directors for the Southwest Region and SWIM Co-ordinators for the Sages Ministry, Bro. & Sis. Derwood Tate, who reside in Denver, Colorado. They pastor The Upper Room UPC, a church which they planted in 1988.

Bro. Tate has been licensed with the United Pentecostal Church since 1982 and since that time has held various roles both locally and nationally. He has served the Colorado District on the Youth Committee, also as the Sunday School Director, and as the Presbyter of the Denver Metro section for 16 years. He also served as the North American Missions Director for 8 years.

Sis. Nancy Tate has also been actively involved in ministry through serving the Ladies Ministries for 18 years as both a sectional director and the ladies district secretary.

The Tates have been happily married since April, 1983, and have been blessed with two children and two grandchildren.

They are excited about what God is doing in the Sages Ministry! The states that they cover for Sages are the following: Colorado, Arizona, Texico, Southern California, Western District, Hawaii. We are grateful for their contribution to this ministry!
