James Lumpkin, Jr

James Lumpkin, Jr., is a 1972 graduate of Apostolic Bible Institute with a Bachelor of Theology, Apostolic Studies. He is married to Jelaine West Lumpkin. They pastored at Word Aflame Church in Little Rock, Arkansas from 1991 - 2022 when they retired and transitioned to the role of bishop. They have two children and four grandchildren.

Prior to pasturing the Lumpkin's were Home Missionaries in New Jersey for 8 years.

He currently serves on the UPCI North American Missions Board and the Arkansas District UPC Board as Presbyter of Section Three.

He speaks to men's groups and conferences throughout the United States. In May 2009 he ministered at an international conference in Kathmandu, Napal.
