Nita Hodges

Nita Kay Bean Hodges was born into the family of Elder F. V. And Blanche Shoemake. At twenty years of age she was married to Verbal Bean and they had three children, Jana, Jennifer and Joel. After fifteen years of marriage, Verbal was killed in a tragic automobile accident.

Three years later she married Arthur Hodges, Jr and they joined their families at that time.

Nita has loved ministry all her life, but one of her greatest joys has been the years she worked in Ladies Ministries. She was LM President of the Western District, and became LM President at the formation of SoCal District. She has spoken at various LM Conferences through the years and still testifies that many of the greatest services she has attended has been when she was privileged to be in Ladies Conferences.

Nita Hodges now lives in Chula Vista, CA and is a member of South Bay UPC under the pastorship of her son, Rev. Arthur Hodges.
